 Plot, How it Began
« Thread Started on Aug 8, 2005, 3:14pm »

A wolf pup lay on the ground silently, shivering. His brown pelt was matted, yellow orbs darted around the place. He was scared and didn't know where he was. He was abandoned from his pack and now he was in some weird place. He sat up, trying to be brave. He walked around, trying to find a place to hide and sleep. Suddenly it started to rain, and now his thoughts were only on one thing: shelter. He ran quickly, paws splashed into small puddles. He found some caves, they were warm and cozy. When he saw the writings, he was very curious on what they said. He tried to figure it out, but it was to complicated. "When I get older, I'm goin' to read it!" He said aloud and proudly.
He stayed there all his life, and one day he finally de-coded the language. There used to be wolves living there, but they were defeated by some force. "The Wind is the only one who can help us," He said aloud. Confused, he read on. "The four packs, Kavag, Calkoro, Helia, and Ellab have turned against each other. All directions are leaving, we have no choice but to leave also. The Wind has decided to stay, we will miss it dearly," He said. He sat down, recaping on what it had said. "Maybe when it said 'directions' it meant the packs, maybe they're north, south, east, and west," He thought. He kept reading and found out that the wolves who were reading these were called Wind Chasers. He never found out why they were, maybe they chased the Wind, he didn't know.
He decided to take a break and explore the land again. He went to a large valley. "I've never been here..." He said aloud, a bit confused. Suddenly he heard some thing. He swerved, but nothing was there. He raised a brow and looked around.

"Cael, why have you come here?"

A voice said. It was a beautiful voice, cool and warm. He looked around again. "I, uh...don't know.." He said, still confused. The voice seemed to laugh.

"You're confused. Let me tell you, I am the Wind and you are in Rorilin."

Cael stopped looking and stood still. "Y-you are?" He stuttered.

"Yes, Cael. I hope that you will help me with a favor,"

It said. He nodded several times. "Yes, of course!" He said, nodding again.

"Good. I want you to be alpha of the Kavag pack, my dear Cael. I will tell you secrets of the Wind and you will teach them to others,"

The Wind told him. Cael was confused, he thought the Kavag pack was dead and gone. "I will become alpha and do all that you say," He said bravely, standing up straight.

"Now go off to your new territory. Later I will tell you everything else,"

Cael nodded and started to walk. He stopped. "Uh, which way is it?" He asked.

"Kavag to the east, Calkoro to the west, Helia to the north and Ellab to the south,"

He smiled and nodded. He ran off in the east direction. His thoughts raced, he had begun a whole new legend, a story to be told long after he's dead. He was to teach everyone about the Wind, he was to be alpha and he was to seek true destiny.
